Staggered orbital currents in the half - filled two - leg ladder
One of the most intriguing phases of strongly correlated electrons is known variously as the ‘‘orbital antiferromagnet,’’ the ‘‘staggered flux phase,’’ or the ‘‘d-density wave.’’ It is characterized by circulating currents which produce local magnetic moments aligned in an antiferromagnetic ~staggered! way. As a consequence, timereversal symmetry as well as translational and rotational symmetri...
متن کاملreflections on taught courses of the iranian ma program in english translation: a mixed-methods study
the issue of curriculum and syllabus evaluation and revision has been in center of attention right from when curriculum came into attention of educational institutions. thus everywhere in the world in educational institutions curricula and syllabi are evaluated and revised based on the goals, the needs, existing content, etc.. in iran any curriculum is designed in a committee of specialists and...
The QCD equation of state with asqtad staggered fermions
We report on our result for the equation of state (EOS) with a Symanzik improved gauge action and the asqtad improved staggered fermion action at Nt = 4 and 6. In our dynamical simulations with 2+1 flavors we use the inexact R algorithm and here we estimate the finite step-size systematic error on the EOS. Finally we discuss the non-zero chemical potential extension of the EOS and give some pre...
متن کاملAnalysis of Density Currents Using the Non-Staggered Grid Fractional Step Method
A new approach for the solution of time-dependent calculations of buoyancy driven currents is presented. The density distribution is not uniform throughout the flow field, however the incompressibility condition and Boussinesq approximation are assumed to be valid because the time variation of density is not significant. This method employs the idea that density variation can be pursued by usin...
